Certified Environmental Hygienist Training & Certification Course Content

Course Content Summary

Instead of just theoretical academic book learning offered in the usual four year college degree in science or industrial hygiene, you will concentrate on and master the practical skills required in the real world for your certified environmental hygienist success, including the many inís and outís of effective environmental inspection, testing, remediation, and prevention of major environmental dangers such as mold, indoor air pollutants, radon, germs, water and food contamination, lead paint, asbestos, pesticides, and chemical hazards. You will learn the biology, chemistry, and industrial hygiene science that you need for your success as a Certified Environmental Hygienist.

The CEH training course will make you very proficient and expert in environmental inspection, testing, remediation, and prevention for:
(1) toxic mold mold infestations (of mold spores, mold colonies, and airborne mycotoxin poisons) such as the dangerous toxic Stachybotrys, Aspergillus, and Penicillium molds; (2) household mold contamination (any mold species in elevated levels indoors endangers occupant health according to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency); (3) allergens (such as airborne dust particles, dust mites, cat and dog skin and fur, and cockroaches);
(4) bacterial and viral germ contamination (such as e.coli bacteria); (5) water and food contamination; (6) pesticide and chemical hazards; (7) radon gas (causes as much lung cancer annually as does cigarette smoking); (8) sixty-two dangerous dangerous volatile organic compounds (VOC); (9) lead in drinking water (especially well water); and (10) lead in paint (such as on children's toys, and wall, floor, and ceiling paint).
